Friday
Yesterday's weather was lovely - sunshine but not too hot.  They had no rain and no storm - very lucky! Some of yesterday's activities were the zip wire, aeroball, climbing and orienteering.  Dinner was chicken tikka, vegetable lasagne, stuffed peppers and chocolate crispy cake.  They had a campfire last night which is always good fun.
The children packed this morning and are off on their last activity of the week.
They aim to be back to school at approx. 3pm but this is obviously traffic dependent.  They will contact us when they are on their way and can gauge the traffic more accurately.  If their arrival time differs by more than about 20 minutes, we will send a text by 2.30pm, which should reach you, subject to networks, by 2.45pm.

Thursday
The children thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's activities.  Dinner last night was pork loin, chicken goujons, veggie Kiev with fresh vegetables or salad followed by ice cream.  After dinner they played 'capture the flag'.
The weather has cooled off a little more today so conditions are much more pleasant!  The children will be doing a range of activities, including trapeze, giant swing and orienteering.

Wednesday
As you can imagine, raft building was extremely popular yesterday and the children had lots of fun.  After the day's activities, the children enjoyed dinner which was Fish Fingers & Chips, Lasagne or a Veggie Biryani followed by fruit crumble & custard or fresh fruit. Their evening activity was a game of Cluedo.
It was cooler last night so sleeping was easier and the weather today is a little cooler than yesterday.  There are a mixture of activities today - Jacob's ladder, the challenge course (mud!), and the giant swing to name just a selection.

Tuesday
The children played Robot Wars last night which we are told was great fun!  Although it was a hot night, the children did manage to sleep.
Breakfast is a choice of cereal, porridge, yoghurt and toast plus a cooked menu.  This morning it was bacon, veggie sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans and tomatoes - they will certainly not be hungry!  Having been well fed, the children have set off for a full day of activities.  They will all be raft-building today which will give them the opportunity to cool off, although there is some cloud cover this morning.

Monday
The children arrived safely just before 12.  They have had lunch and are looking forward to the rest of the day's activities.
